Dear Vietnam Vet (DVV) is a 501 (c)3 organization, founded by the daughter of a Vietnam veteran that is 100% volunteer driven. We rely on your generous donations to deliver these messages of thanks from grateful citizens to the veterans who need them the most. We thank you for your support and for recognizing the sacrifice of these veterans.


Founder Biography

Bonnie Wade Mucia is originally from the New England area and now lives in Bluffton, SC with her husband and daughter. She is a very active member of the Emily Geiger Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and also is a member of the SC Mayflower Society. She is an Associate Member of the Vietnam Veterans of America and also an Associate Member of the Military Order of The Purple Heart chapter both in South Carolina.

Bonnie is the daughter of a Vietnam Vet. Her father John F. Wade served 2 tours in Vietnam from 1967-1969. He was a Marine with Hotel Co, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines. He fought in the Battle of Hue City during the TET Offensive in 1968 during his 1st tour. He is a Purple Heart recipient. He passed away very unexpectedly in 1991 at the age of 43.
